I'm worried about the alliances and the two factions. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong but it sounds like your guild has to choose a side, and that I could see causing potential problems.

Factions is going to be awesome. Can't wait for it to come out!
I am excited about the factions part, I wonder what those "magical walking machines" for luxon are going to be?

Also, I can just imagine the petrified forest where the kurzicks made their home is going to be beautiful.

Now I am extremely excited about Factions. I can't wait for it to come out and it looks like the Assassin and Ritualist are confirmed to be the only two new classes in Chapter 2.

From what I read, its the player decides what faction to choose. The Guilds can join alliances with other guilds to work together in large battles. Or thats how I read it.

The whole "contested area" aspect appears in World of Warcraft except this sounds A LOT more appealing. If the game instances stay true = no random/annoying ganking when you're minding your own business in a town or outpost. =D

I also hope these "faction battles" will be huge. Like 32 vs. 32 huge. XD

I can't wait for this game now, looks and sounds brilliant. I want to see what kind of rewards each faction will get for dominating areas, I think it would be cool to be able to access a special realm, like UW/FoW, if your faction has dominace over a particular area. I know I've read something about rewards for dominace, but I think something like that would be cool.

female ritualist, male ritualist there yep - nice =D
but I'm surprised no-ones noticing (or at least mentioning) the MALE assassin?
I'm just glad they confirmed he's in game (so much hub-bub 'bout the lady

along with the new guild hall - very cool - nice artwork/nicely done
only thing I'm missing is an ingame shot of female assassin now

still no CGW at my Barnes & Noble bookshelves -
anyone else seeing them appear at stands (and if so what store(s)?)

Actually, I thought that female next to the male assassin was a female assissin. If you look carefully, you can see she's dual-wielding (though one of the daggers cannot be seen), though I can understand why you'd mistake her for a Ritualist, with the helmet and all.


And I'm really glad after seeing what the ritualists looks like. I was just thinking to myself how few African-themed character designs games usually have. He looks shaman-ish
